EXOCET Inflatable Boat Limited Warranty Policy
This warranty is provided by [EXOCET Tech] (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") to the original purchaser (hereinafter referred to as "Customer") who purchases EXOCET inflatable boat products through the EXOCET website, Amazon, or other authorized channels.
1. Warranty Period and Coverage
Three (3) Year Limited Warranty: The warranty period commences from the date the Customer completes order payment (or product delivery, whichever occurs earlier) and lasts for three (3) years.
l Main Hull Structure (3 years): Covers defects in materials and workmanship for the main hull structure, adhesivebonded components (such as rope hooks, rubber antiimpact reinforcements and other bonded parts, aluminum floorboards, etc.).
l WearandTear Parts (free replacement within 30 days of receipt): Covers defects in materials and workmanship for accessory parts (oars, extendable rear wheel assembly, hand pump, etc.). These accessories are covered by the 3year warranty, but free replacement parts and free shipping are only available within 30 days from the date the Customer receives the goods. For accessories beyond 30 days, the Company may still provide replacement parts, but all related shipping costs shall be borne by the Customer.
2. Nontransferable
This warranty is nontransferable and is valid only for the original retail purchaser. The Customer must provide original proof of purchase (such as order number, invoice, etc.) when making a warranty claim.
3. Warranty Coverage and Service Process
During the warranty period, if a manufacturing defect confirmed by the Company occurs in the product, the Company will handle it as follows:
l Small punctures or damage (< 3 cm²): The Company will provide graphic or video repair instructions. The Customer may use the repair kit included with the boat to carry out repairs themselves, and the repair materials will be provided free of charge.
l Major hull structural damage: For confirmed warrantycovered defects, the Company may, at its sole discretion, either (a) send replacement parts at no cost, or (b) authorize the Customer to return the product to the Company’s designated repair center (e.g., warehouse in California, USA) for repair. For hull repairs or replacements covered under warranty, the Company will bear the necessary return shipping costs (with a prepaid shipping label).
l Accessory replacement:
1. If an accessory develops a manufacturing defect within 30 days from the date of receipt, the Company will send a replacement part to the Customer free of charge and bear the corresponding shipping costs.
2. If an accessory develops a manufacturing defect after 30 days from receipt but still within the 3year warranty period, and upon confirmation by the Company that the defect is covered, the Company may still provide a replacement part, but all shipping costs for such replacement (including but not limited to crossborder freight, customs duties, etc.) shall be borne by the Customer.
All warranty services require the Customer to first contact our customer service team (via email) and provide order information along with photos/videos of the defect for initial assessment.
4. Shipping Damage Claims
The Customer must inspect the product immediately upon receipt. Any damage caused during transit must be reported to the Company within 15 days of receipt, with supporting photos of the damage and all packaging materials retained. Claims for shipping damage reported more than 15 days after receipt will not be accepted. Any visible damage should be noted on the bill of lading before accepting the goods, and photographs should be taken where possible.
5. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This warranty does not cover any problem or damage caused by:
1. Normal wear and tear, aging, weathering, or natural fading (e.g., surface scratches on the hull, rubber aging, etc.).
2. Misuse, improper handling, negligence, or accidents by the Customer, including but not limited to: overloading, dragging on abrasive surfaces, damage from sharp objects, overinflation, use while underinflated, prolonged exposure to sunlight, or contact with chemical solvents.
3. Any repair or modification carried out by personnel not authorized by the Company.
4. Damage caused by force majeure events (such as fire, flood, earthquake) or damage occurring during transportation arranged by the Customer.
5. Use of chargers (if applicable), accessories, or lubricants not provided by the Company.
6. Commercial use, such as rental, freight, commercial passenger transport, or abnormal mileage increases (if applicable).
6. Warranty Voidance
This warranty will automatically become void under the following circumstances:
1. The product is resold, rented, or used for commercial profitmaking activities.
2. The Customer disassembles, modifies, or alters the hull structure, adhesivebonded components, or accessories without authorization.
3. Use of nonoriginal or incompatible replacement parts.
4. Damage caused by improper maintenance or storage (e.g., prolonged water accumulation, incorrect inflation/deflation).
7. Disclaimer
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by the Company and supersedes all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty gives the Customer specific legal rights, and the Customer may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction. The Company assumes no liability beyond the scope of this warranty.
8. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must properly use, maintain, and store the inflatable boat in accordance with the instructions in the user manual and notify the Company within 15 days upon discovering any suspected defect. When submitting a warranty claim, the Customer must provide a detailed description of the defect, photos/videos, and original purchase information. The Company shall not be liable if a claim cannot be processed due to the Customer’s failure to provide necessary information.
The Customer shall not attempt major repairs on their own before contacting the Company; otherwise, the warranty may be voided and safety risks may arise.
9. Shipping Cost Policy
l Main Hull Structure: For warrantycovered hull repairs or replacements, the Company will bear the cost of shipping replacement parts to the Customer and, where applicable, provide a prepaid return shipping label.
l Accessory Replacement Shipping Costs:
1. For accessory warranty replacement within 30 days of receipt, shipping costs shall be borne by the Company.
2. For accessory replacement after 30 days of receipt (whether or not within the 3year warranty period), all related shipping costs (including return freight and redelivery freight) shall be borne by the Customer.
l For any repairs determined not to be covered by warranty or caused by the Customer’s own fault, all associated shipping costs shall be borne by the Customer.
This policy is effective from July 1, 2026 and supersedes all previous versions. The Company reserves the right of final interpretation of this policy.
